An opportunity has arisen for an Engineering Supervisor to provide support to the Group Engineering Manager. The candidate would need to demonstrate an efficient variety of maintenance techniques and have a knowledge of PPM systems. The ability to fault find around electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems is essential. The responsibilities of the role include • Manage and co-ordinate shift engineers. • Identify problem, organise workload/parts and delegate staffing. • To organise and deliver PPM’s. • To attend weekly and monthly meetings as a representative of the Engineering Department. • Monitoring of daily tasks and supporting paperwork. • Demonstrate budgetary management. • Communicate in written and verbal format with employees at all levels. • Proficient in people management. Applicants should be apprentice trained or NVQ level 2 qualified, or equivalent, and have a basic qualification in Maths and English. Preferably the candidate would have 16th Edition and an Abrasive Wheel Certificate. Closing date for applications 25th April |
