HR Administrator

Working within the busy HR Department in March, you will play a key role in assisting in the efficient day to day running of the department. With your previous administration skills, your role will involve writing and placing job advertisements, monitoring responses to campaigns and to oversee the transfer from candidate to employee.

You will play a key role in the administration of company procedures, producing letters, taking and writing minutes and producing outcome documents. You will also be responsible for managing employee files and for the monthly statistics produced by the HR department including employee numbers, recruitment targets and starters and leavers.

As first point of contact for the department, you will naturally display good communication skills, an approachable manner and initiative. As part of the HR team, confidentiality and integrity are two essential behaviours required in the successful candidate.

Engineering Supervisor

An opportunity has arisen for an Engineering Supervisor to provide support to the Group Engineering Manager. The candidate would need to demonstrate an efficient variety of maintenance techniques and have a knowledge of PPM systems. The ability to fault find around electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems is essential.

The responsibilities of the role include

Manage and co-ordinate shift engineers.

Identify problem, organise workload/parts and delegate staffing.

To organise and deliver PPM’s.

To attend weekly and monthly meetings as a representative of the Engineering Department.

Monitoring of daily tasks and supporting paperwork.

Demonstrate budgetary management.

Communicate in written and verbal format with employees at all levels.

Proficient in people management.

Applicants should be apprentice trained or NVQ level 2 qualified, or equivalent, and have a basic qualification in Maths and English. Preferably the candidate would have 16th Edition and an Abrasive Wheel Certificate.
