MBMG to Acquire Warrell Morton & Company Ltd

Leading fresh produce supplier MBMG has today announced that it has agreed to acquire the trade and trading assets of potato supplier Warrell Morton & Company Ltd. The completion of the sale is still subject to contract, but is expected to complete within the next 4 weeks.

An independent potato supplier based in Essex, Warrell Morton supplies over 20,000 tonnes of fresh and prepared potatoes to the retail and foodservice sectors both in the UK and mainland Europe.

Prior to the completion of the sale, employees at Warrell Morton will be consulted with in full regarding the proposed sale and discussing the operating options open to MBMG following the acquisition of the business.
